Midwest Account Executive

Counsel On Call is a leader in a rapidly growing segment of the legal profession today. We seek a proven account executive to participate in the growth of our Midwest region. The position requires major focus on Chicago and secondary focus on the area from Minneapolis to Detroit.

The Midwest Account Executive will be part of Counsel On Call’s existing business development team and will report to the VP of Business Development. This position requires strong professional sales skills and a keen understanding of strategic account management. Acquisition of new business from new clients is the primary goal.
 
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A history of success in legal or professional services sales, preferably in the legal services area
Demonstrable results selling to attorneys and/or senior-level executives
An understanding of the legal industry and various practice areas
Knowledge of current e-discovery methodology and tools
Goal-oriented and a team player
Relentless prospecting and appointment-setting skills
Demonstrable, verifiable work ethic and history of success
Legal background desirable but not required
 
The Midwest Account Executive will perform the following job requirements:
Possess and articulate a full understanding of services provided by Counsel On Call
Develop and maintain a robust list of qualified prospects and clients
Be a leader in transforming prospects into satisfied clients
Become an effective point of contact for business created
Create revenue by driving business in the corporate and law firm legal arena
File weekly reports outlining activities toward achieving sales goals
Work independently and effectively on a daily basis as part of the sales team
Be an integral part of the Midwest regional office of Counsel On Call
