Candice L. Reed
Executive Director

Ms. Reed directs the Nashville office of Counsel On Call, as well as focuses on business development and client relations.

Prior to joining Counsel on Call, she practiced commercial litigation with the Nashville office of Miller & Martin PLLC.

Ms. Reed received her J.D., with high honors, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she served as chair of the Speaker Series, co-chair of the College of Law Development Council and editor for the Tennessee Law Review. She was the recipient of the Clarence and Augusta Kolwyck Memorial Scholarship and was awarded for her service to the College of Law with a Dean's Citation. Ms. Reed also received the James Powers Excellence in Advocacy Award from the University of Tennessee Legal Clinic. Ms. Reed completed her undergraduate education at UT as well, graduating summa cum laude in College Scholars with an emphasis in English and Spanish. While at the University of Tennessee, she was recognized as a Tennessee Scholar and Torchbearer.

Ms. Reed is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and is a member of the Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations (Young Lawyers Division Board Member). She is a member of Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women and serves on the board of directors for the Marion Griffin Chapter of Lawyers' Association of Women and Court Appointed Special Advocates. Ms. Reed is the former chair of LAW's mentoring program with Vanderbilt University Law School, serves on the Alumni Advisory Council at the University of Tennessee College of Law and is a board member of Youth, Education & Sports (Y.E.S.), a nonprofit organization that promotes the advancement of young people through education and athletics. Ms. Reed is a former associate member of the Harry Phillips American Inn of Court.
