Mr. Stout is a senior attorney and director of Counsel On Call's E-Discovery Division. On a daily basis, he manages e-discovery and litigation support assignments across the country, works closely with technology and hosting companies and seeks to continually improve the programs and resources offered to Counsel On Call’s clients and candidates.

He has more than 10 years of experience practicing law and, for the three years prior to his arrival at Counsel On Call's corporate office, practiced as an attorney through our company, managing litigation-related matters for two Fortune 100 companies.

A Certified Litigation Support Professional and Certified Attenex Trainer, Mr. Stout has managed litigation projects of all shapes and sizes. He has significant experience working with software/hosting companies, understands the benefits different technologies provide, and helps design and implement quality control protocol; these skills have helped Counsel On Call clients create new levels of efficiency and productivity and save millions of dollars.

Previously, Mr. Stout served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for a Nashville start-up company, where he was responsible for operations and managing the legal affairs of the company. Prior to that, he served as a commercial litigation associate with the law firms of Baker, Donelson, Bearman and Caldwell, PC and Colbert & Winstead, PLLC, in Nashville.

Mr. Stout received his J.D. from Southern Methodist School of Law in Dallas, Texas, and his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Washington, D.C., and is a member of the D.C. Bar, the Nashville Bar Association, and is a former board member of the NBA's Young Lawyer Division.
